Mumbai: Gromax Agri Equipment, a joint venture between Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and the Government of Gujarat, has launched eight new tractors in the 2WD and 4WD categories, marking a major expansion of its portfolio.
The highlight of the launch is India’s first factory-fitted cabin tractor in the sub-50 HP segment, under the Trakstar Kavach series.
Gromax Agri Equipment Expands Tractor Range with Advanced Technology
The newly introduced tractors are powered by fuel-efficient Gromax diesel engines and advanced gearbox systems, delivering high performance and ease of operation.

Designed for diverse agricultural applications, the tractors will cater to orchard farming, areca-nut cultivation, inter-cultivation, puddling, and haulage requirements.
The Trakstar Kavach series introduces a sub-50 HP cabin tractor that provides farmers with safety, comfort, and weather resistance for year-round farming. Initially offered in a non-air-conditioned cabin, an air-conditioned variant will be introduced in the next phase.
Product Portfolio: New Tractor Models by Gromax Agri Equipment
- Trakstar Kavach Series: Available in AC and non-AC variants, this series includes models like the Trakstar 545 4WD and Trakstar 550 4WD, designed for haulage and agricultural tasks.
- Trakstar 525 4WD NT: A 25 HP tractor with a 33’’ track-width, ideal for inter-cultivation in narrow rows.
- Trakstar 525 2WD: A 25 HP tractor tailored for orchard farming.
- Trakstar 540 HT: A 40 HP tractor built for haulage and puddling.
- Trakstar 540 Orchard: India’s first 40 HP tractor for areca-nut farming, offering multifunctional features.
- Trakstar 545 4WD: A 45 HP tractor for diverse farming applications.
- Trakstar 550 4WD: A 50 HP tractor suited for potato farming, puddling, and haulage.
- Trakstar 550 HT: A 50 HP tractor designed for heavy-haulage and multi-utility agricultural work.
